Delete your Patauna account

This page explains how to permanently delete your Patauna account and the data associated with it.

Delete from inside the app (instant)

1. Open the Patauna app and sign in.
2. Go to Account (tap your profile picture on the Today screen).
3. Scroll down and tap Delete account.
4. Confirm. Your account and data are deleted immediately.

Or request deletion by email

Email patauna.app@gmail.com from any address, mentioning the mobile number you registered with. We verify ownership and delete the account within 7 days.

What is deleted

• Your account and profile (phone number, name, photo, study preferences)
• Your activity: test attempts, study plans, streaks, generated notes and essays, mentor conversations, Mains submissions, interview sessions
• Your wallet balance and free credits (these cannot be restored)
• Push-notification registrations for your devices

What is kept

• Anonymised usage records that are no longer linked to you (for service cost accounting)
• Records we are legally required to retain, if any, for the statutory period

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Signing in again with the same number afterwards creates a fresh account. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
