Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh launched India's state-of-the-art Ocean Research Vessel 'ORV Sagar Manthan' in Kolkata. This all-weather, multidisciplinary, deep-sea research vessel is built under the Deep Ocean Mission and is designed for oceanographic and geophysical research, including surveys of deep-sea mineral resources.

केंद्रीय मंत्री डॉ. जितेंद्र सिंह ने कोलकाता में भारत के अत्याधुनिक महासागर अनुसंधान पोत 'ओआरवी सागर मंथन' का शुभारंभ किया. यह सभी मौसम में काम करने वाला, बहु-विषयक, गहरे समुद्र में अनुसंधान करने वाला पोत डीप ओशन मिशन के तहत बनाया गया है और इसे गहरे समुद्र के खनिज संसाधनों के सर्वेक्षण सहित समुद्र विज्ञान और भूभौतिकीय अनुसंधान के लिए डिज़ाइन किया गया है.

Fire in Eastern Congo Kills at Least 24 Students
