NITI Aayog Report on Skilling for Viksit Bharat

India Rejects UNCERD Observations
India rejected observations made by the United Nations Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination (UNCERD), calling them “politically motivated” and “highly malicious”. Nepal Floods and Indian Assistance
Massive flash floods in Nepal's Rasuwa district, bordering Tibet, have resulted in at least nine deaths and left nearly 400 people missing, including 105 Indians. India has dispatched 10 tonnes of Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) aid and essential medicines to support Nepal's response efforts.

High-Level Committee for Gorkha Issue
The Union Ministry of Home Affairs has constituted a high-level committee to develop a framework for a permanent political solution to the Gorkha issue. The committee will address the Gorkhas' demand for political self-rule, protection of their identity, and examine financial assistance for the region, including the granting of Scheduled Tribe status to 11 Gorkha communities.
