India-China Hold 25th Round of Border Talks in Beijing
National Security Advisor Ajit Doval met with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in Beijing for the 25th round of Special Representatives' talks on the India-China boundary question. Both sides discussed advancing talks on delimiting parts of the disputed border and maintaining peace and tranquility in the border areas. Mr. Doval stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping have provided a "clear and positive direction" to the India-China relationship, which is steadily returning to normalcy.
