India and Japan Deepen Defence and Maritime Security Cooperation
India and Japan held their Defence Ministers Meeting in New Delhi, co-chaired by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Japanese Defence Minister Shinjiro Koizumi. Both nations agreed to enhance defence technology cooperation, maritime security cooperation, and strategic coordination. A Memorandum of Arrangement on Maritime Security Cooperation was also signed.
