The India-Oman Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) officially came into force on June 1, 2026. भारत-ओमान व्यापक आर्थिक साझेदारी समझौता (CEPA) आधिकारिक तौर पर 1 जून 2026 को लागू हो गया. 18 दिसंबर 2025 को हस्ताक्षरित इस समझौते का उद्देश्य दोनों देशों के बीच द्विपक्षीय व्यापार और आर्थिक सहयोग को बढ़ावा देना है. तरजीही शुल्क लाभ के तहत कृषि उत्पादों और रत्न एवं आभूषणों के निर्यात की पहली खेप मुंबई, कोलकाता और चेन्नई से रवाना की गई.
PM SVANidhi Scheme Completes Six Years
The Pradhan Mantri Street Vendor's AtmaNirbhar Nidhi (PM SVANidhi) Scheme completed six years of implementation in June 2026. Launched on June 1, 2020, by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, it's a micro-credit initiative for street vendors affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. The scheme has disbursed over 1.12 crore loans worth more than ₹17,800 crore to over 75.5 lakh beneficiaries.
