National Family Health Survey-6 (NFHS-6) Report Released
The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare released the National Family Health Survey-6 (NFHS-6) report for 2023-24, highlighting India's progress in maternal and child health, child nutrition, and health insurance. स्वास्थ्य और परिवार कल्याण मंत्रालय ने 2023-24 के लिए राष्ट्रीय परिवार स्वास्थ्य सर्वेक्षण-6 (NFHS-6) रिपोर्ट जारी की, जिसमें मातृ एवं शिशु स्वास्थ्य, बाल पोषण और स्वास्थ्य बीमा में भारत की प्रगति पर प्रकाश डाला गया है। प्रमुख निष्कर्षों में संस्थागत प्रसव में 90.6% की वृद्धि और प्रसवपूर्व देखभाल पंजीकरण में 95.9% तक विस्तार शामिल है। रिपोर्ट में 2.1 के प्रतिस्थापन स्तर से नीचे, 2.0 पर स्थिर कुल प्रजनन दर (TFR) और बच्चों में स्टंटिंग तथा गंभीर तीव्र कुपोषण में उल्लेखनीय गिरावट भी दर्ज की गई।
