These terms govern your use of Patauna (patauna.com and the Patauna application). By using Patauna, you agree to them.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use Patauna.

2. The service

Patauna provides AI-assisted UPSC preparation tools — daily plans, practice, mains and essay evaluation, an AI mentor, and on-demand study material. Patauna is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the UPSC or any government body. We do not guarantee any selection, rank, marks or examination outcome.

3. Accounts

Provide accurate information, keep your login secure, and remain responsible for activity under your account.

4. Payments & credits

Core daily features are free. Some features use pay-as-you-go credits bought via Razorpay; prices are shown before purchase. Credits are consumed when you use the relevant feature, and consumed credits are non-refundable. There is no subscription or auto-renewal at this time.

5. Acceptable use

Use Patauna only for your personal exam preparation. Do not scrape, resell, reverse-engineer, access the service through automated bulk methods, attempt to extract our prompts or keys, or submit unlawful content.

6. AI-generated content

Evaluations, notes, essays and mentor responses are generated by AI and may be incomplete or contain errors. Verify important facts against authoritative sources. AI output is study assistance, not authoritative or professional advice.

7. Intellectual property

The platform, design and content (other than your own submissions) belong to Patauna. You keep ownership of what you submit and grant us a licence to process it solely to provide the service.

8. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Patauna is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India shall have jurisdiction.

12. Changes

We may update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept the change.
