Sarnath Inscribed on UNESCO World Heritage List

India's ancient Buddhist site of Sarnath in Uttar Pradesh has been inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. This decision was made during the 48th session of the UNESCO's World Heritage Committee meeting in Busan, South Korea.
