11th Quad Foreign Ministers' Meeting in New Delhi
The Foreign Ministers of Australia, India, Japan, and the United States convened in New Delhi for the 11th Quad Foreign Ministers' Meeting. National Sports Governance Rules, 2026 Notified
The Union Government has notified the National Sports Governance (National Sports Board) Rules, 2026 and the National Sports Governance (National Sports Tribunal) Rules, 2026 under the National Sports Governance Act, 2025. These rules aim to make sports administration more transparent, professional, and digitally organized in India. The National Sports Board will serve as the apex regulatory authority, while the National Sports Tribunal will handle conflicts within sports bodies.
राष्ट्रीय खेल शासन नियम, 2026 अधिसूचित
केंद्र सरकार ने राष्ट्रीय खेल शासन अधिनियम, 2025 के प्रावधानों के तहत राष्ट्रीय खेल शासन (राष्ट्रीय खेल बोर्ड) नियम, 2026 और राष्ट्रीय खेल शासन (राष्ट्रीय खेल न्यायाधिकरण) नियम, 2026 को अधिसूचित किया है. इन नियमों का उद्देश्य भारत में खेल प्रशासन को अधिक पारदर्शी, पेशेवर और डिजिटल रूप से व्यवस्थित बनाना है. राष्ट्रीय खेल बोर्ड सर्वोच्च नियामक प्राधिकरण के रूप में कार्य करेगा, जबकि राष्ट्रीय खेल न्यायाधिकरण खेल निकायों के भीतर विवादों को संभालेगा.
Committee Constituted to Study Demographic Changes
The Union Government has formed a high-level committee, chaired by Justice Prakash Prabhakar Naolekar, to study demographic changes across India. The committee will conduct a comprehensive assessment of population shifts, identify regions with unusual changes, and analyze these changes at the level of religious and social communities. It will also examine potential causes, including illegal cross-border migration.
